Sophie Jonas DesignsInitially producing jewellery, they soon began supplying Brides with original and unusual wedding jewellery and after repeated requests, Sophie trained as a Pattern Cutter at the London College of Fashion and they added dressmaking to their jewellery business, specialising in the design and making of wedding gowns and costume. Bridal designs range from simple classic dresses to historical and contemporary styles and Sophie has also developed techniques to create beautiful and exotic costume pieces by knitting fine wire strung with crystals and gemstones, often in conjunction with yarn and fabric.
All our dresses, headdresses and accessories are made in our studio, beading and other hand finishing work is done by Linda who is an embroideress. We do not buy in gowns or sell ranges by other designers. The only items we do not make ourselves are our shoes which are handmade to order by an independent shoemaker.
